The Feinstein International Famine Center and the Institute for the Study of International Migration is publishing a short paper on remittances in crises in the Humanitarian Policy Group here.

It highlights the ways in which money sent by expatriates to crisis affected areas are an important part of local capacities, and discusses ways in which interventions can leverage this resource.
