OK Folks, following on from our article on Hope For Dave (here), Bob points out that HumanitarianDating.com does indeed seem to exist, and function. Your fearless reporter registered for the site, and verified that it is, indeed, a dating web-site aimed at humanitarian workers, and that there are, indeed, humanitarian singles out there looking for like-minded folks. You’ll need to register to get access, but it looks like a potentially useful resource.

I tried registering for the site, but was never sent an activation code to finish registration. The site also leaves no way for you to contact them for customer support, unless you have already finished registering???

Hmmm… I’m not sure who actually runs it or whether it is actively supported – I’ll look into it!

You can contact us at administrator@humanitariandating.com. One of the reasons some confirmation mails may not get through is spam filters. Let me know if you are still having trouble logging on. We will give contact details on the front of the site for customer support in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I’ve had an excessive amount of trouble registering for this site. Continual error messages that are unnecessary…. extremely frustrating.

If you can let us know what the problem is and contact us at humanitariandating@hotmail.com, this is the best place for support. We had changed our approvals process in the last few weeks and had some bugs which have now been resolved. However, If you have only partially completed a profile when signing up, we will not give full access to the site. It doesn’t help us to have members with no information about themselves on site, we are doing another upgrade soon of the site which will further improve the approvals process and capture only allow genuine members. All members are now manually approved. This may take a few hours to approve and then you will be given full access. So sorry for any inconvenience but if you email us and give us information about problems on the site we can improve the service for all.
